Albert Kehrli (April 19, 2024)

KEHRLI, ALBERT died April 19, 2024, age 92, Born in Switzerland November 19, 1931,

Albert immigrated to Canada April 19, 1950, working briefly in farming, then construction, and then a 30 year career as a home fuel oil delivery driver for Elias Rogers (later Texaco), until his early retirement when Texaco was sold.

Over the years, Albert was an active member of the Foresters, the Lions Club, the Swiss Club, the Swiss Rifle Club and the Thornhill Cruisers Car Club, and loved spending his time outdoors.

His health declined quickly recently, and he decided to take advantage of the MAID program, rather than suffer a further decline.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy; he is survived by his children, Grant (Lisa), Lynn (Sylvio); and his sisters, Heidi and Ruth.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., October 5, 2024, the anniversary of Nancy’s service, with sandwiches to follow. If you are attending his daughter Lynn Kehrli lynnkehrli@gmail.com  would like to know how many seats you will need.
